New Saraswati My Colourful World for Class 2

My Colourful World, a graded art and craft series, is based on the premise that experiencing art and creative learning during school years give students the opportunity to nurture imagination. A pack of 11 books from pre-primary levels till class 8, the series has been created with the intention to develop cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities in every child.

Based on the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage 2022-2023, My Colourful World is a comprehensive art and craft course with an integrated, multi-skill curriculum framework for students of pre-primary to class 8. It is a tailor-made package based on the 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 ‘curricular and pedagogical’ structure laid down by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The series lays emphasis on the various skills of early childhood education with sufficient learning opportunities for target learners to develop all skills—physical, socio-emotional, and ethical, creative, cognitive, language and literacy, aesthetic and culture, and positive learning habits.
