About the Book

Our new English Reader Series, Get Smart—A Multi-skill English Language Course for Classes 1 to 8, has meticulously followed the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023. The three main constituents, Pramanas, Panchakosha Vikas, and Panchpadi, have been used significantly through the explanations, examples, and exercises used in this series. This series adopts an eclectic approach which keeps the child in the centre of learning and encourages
teacher-student interaction as well as collaborative and experiential learning. This series follows the latest teaching-learning pedagogy and lays emphasis on the four language skills—listening, speaking, reading and writing—along with vocabulary and grammar.
